I was reviewing the customizations for the LC and saw one that is off by default. under the windows. If I read it right that would make me think if I turn it on and hold the unlock button on the remote that it will open all power windows. Has anyone else done this one? Thanks in advance.

Works with my key fob...but it worked from the get-go. Perhaps original owner had it done... but it definitely works and is a super helpful feature.

Also... You can CLOSE all windows by holding in the little door button on the outside of the vehicle so long as the fob is in your pocket. Not sure if this second one requires customization or not...but it’s a great benefit. Saves hassle when you forget a window is down before parking, etc.

If I were you, I’d try both now and see if either are activated.

It is a setting that needs to be enabled with Techstream. Engine doesn't need to be running for it to operate.

Works. Ive used Carista to enable. If i left my keys in my back pocket i would sometimes inadvertently butt press and hold the unlock button on the keyfob, cranking open my windows and not realizing my error until the morning (once after raining at night). So I’ve since disabled this feature. Great hack though for warm, sunny climates where the vehicle has a tendency to bake in the sun. Not that much of a problem in Cascadia, PNW. 😬

My 13LC has also done this for as long as I have owned it. Nice feature in the summer.

i also used Carista to enable it and also use the door button to roll them all back up. good point on the fob being pressed by @chipsterguy - didnt think of that! I'll see how it goes...

I have a 2010 LC and live in memphis where heat and humidity can escalate. I had this feature on my last Lexus and loved it.

Can anyone tell me if my model will do this and what I have to do/buy to enable? thanks.

THIS ^^^^ While it was a great feature when I was in California, now that I am in the Midwest it sucks to have your remote in your pocket and somehow get squeezed, roll down your windows and then have it rain. It happened to me last summer. Ugh.

Living here in Texas with a black vehicle in the summer heat, I used tech stream to enable this. I also changed it to vent the moon roof instead of slide it open with the windows.
