So Is There Any Word If They Are Going To Do The All White Fj In A Limited Or Trd Package This Year? I Am Ready To Buy Very Soon, But Would Wait If Its Comming

I was just at the dealer and they said it will be all white, but not sure when it will be available.

The consensus on the blue forum is March of 08!
Iceberg TRD, black wheels, blacked out bumperettes.

I could be wrong and probably am but that's what i've read.

Hi Ya!

Hi Ya everybody! I'm new to this forum but not the site. I've been lurking around for many months trying to get the feel of the site and its members. So far, so great! My main reason for coming here was to see what is going on with the '08 Cruisers and all the new colors, options and whatnot. I work for a Toyota delership part-time and am always looking out for the '08's. I came across the '08 FJ Cruiser brochure and found out that the '08 FJ in the Iceberg color will come in the form of a "Trail Teams Edition". Here is what is written up in the latest brochure:

WHAT MAKES THE TRAIL TEAMS SPECIAL EDITION FJ CRUISER SPECIAL? PLENTY!

"For starters, the standard FJ Cruiser's already impressive off-road performance is enhanced by trail tuned Bilstein shock absorbers; BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires mounted on TRD 16" aluminum alloy wheels with matt black powder-coated finish; Active Traction Control; locking rear diff; a TRD exhaust system, plus a Cyclone Air Cleaner under the hood.
The bold contrast between the all-white body color and the black wheels, bumpers, grille surround and exterior mirror housings make this FJ Cruiser stand out from the crowd. Trail Team badges, bumper mounted FJ auxiliary light, a five piece set of all-weather mats and cargo mat with logos, and color matched door trims and instrument panel complete its dramatic appearance.
Add a leather-trimmed steering whell, a nine speaker audio system with AM/FM 6 disc in-dash CD and MP3 capability, floating ball-type multi-informational display, shift knob and a convenience package that includes remote keyless entry, cruiser control, power outside mirrors with markers, rear privacy glass, rear wiper and rear parking sonar, and the Trail Teams Special Edition offers excellent value and authentic FJ Cruiser capability.
The Trail Tems Special Edition FJ Cruiser is set to hit dealers in January 2008, but with only 3200 being built".

From the pictures I have seen in the brochure it looks pretty mean in the white/black combo. I think it's time to pull the trigger and get my order in. BTW, I currently drive a 2005 Toyota Tacoma with the TRD Off Road package. I'll try to scan some of the pictures from the brochure and post them when I can get some free time. Hopefully this evening.
On a side note the dealership DID get an '08 FJ in with the Off Road package with the WOL BFG's but decided to pull a "Pimp MY Ride" on it with chrome 20" wheels, Pirelli Scorpion tires, a chrome front lightbar with 4 lights and some chrome trim pieces on the hood.
I'll post those later as well.

The only thing I'd be interested in is the "bumper mounted FJ auxiliary light". All the rest is standard fare, plus some special badges

Pics

Got a book at the dealership. Yep its white with the black TRD wheels. Woody is in the issue as well.
Looks great.

Looks like the pics were taken at Browns Camp, Tillamook State Forrest, Oregon. (I recognize that fallen cedar tree).

I think there was another Toyota at that shoot to be debuted at SEMA!

What's even more interesting is there's a new guy on the blue forms claiming to already have a white FJ...although no pics were posted when everyone asked for them for about a week straight.

Interesting. I like the way it looks from those brochure pics though. I'm still planning to buy an FJC to add to the Toyota stable sometime in the spring. Maybe I'll wait until the white one actually hits the showrooms to make a decision on color

There is a "warm white" listed as a color when I go to build a FJC, but only in a 6-speed. I wonder if this might be what they're talking about?
