Just today I returned to the rig from a hike and could not open the door with the fob. Opened with the key and could not open the other doors with the master inside the driver door. I hear it trying. So it seems clear to me that whatever is trying to send the signal, isn't.

The fob and the switch must communicate with the same thing that isn't working. Any ideas?

Was it parked in the sun? Mine will do this to me ands it's because the motor inside the actuator mechanism gets old and fails. It's worse in the heat. You can replace the motors with some elbow grease and a cheap motor. Search the forum for more info "door lock actuators" should do it.

X2 with what @yotasavg said.

It was parked in the heat. Before I forget, thanks for responding.

But every single door? That is, I hear and see the locks trying to open/close but nothing. On any of the doors. Actually, I think when I get rolling the back and passenger doors lock again. But fail to unlock.

Could one of the doors being balky affect the others?

I recently replaced my drivers side lock actuator, the entire assembly, and now all my locks work fine. From what I understand, all the locks wiring go through the drivers door, and when this motor starts to bog down or fail, the other doors work intermittently. It is a weird situation.

Mine has done this about 4 times. Some lock, some dont, same with unlock

Try this, put the key in the ignition, turn the key but don't start it, leave key like that for 20 mins or so.

Now try the locks.

I think mine happens when I accidentally lock or unlock the doors with remote when the back hatch is still open....I think it gets confused....same as me ;)
