Logan Monk - - alkaline747trio

I'm not entirely sure what happened yet but I just got a call from a mutual friend. There was some sort of car accident somewhere near albemarle and he was killed. I'm not quite sure how to put this in words on here as I am still in shock but I needed to get this out there. I know many on this board knew him either in person or over mud. Mud members are a close nit family so I needed to let people know this.

I wanted to make sure everyone on ONSC knew that as most of us did know him.

He was the one reason I really got into land cruisers in the first place as he was the only person who would explain stupid newb questions that I had to me when I first thought of buying mine.

You will always be missed buddy

You will always be the man

I'll let everyone on here know as I find out more, i'm really in shock right now as I had dinner with him just 5 days ago and were supposed to hang out on Saturday.

At only 21 the good die young.

I'm very sorry to hear about Logan, what a tragedy.:frown:

My deepest condolences to you, Al, and to Logan's family. Very sorry to hear of Logan's passing.

Man, I don't even know what to say right now... I remember coming down Table Rock with him our first Brown Mountain trip, and having a long conversation with him. With Lily on my shoulder pretty much the entire way...

Thanks for posting Al. Our condolences go out to his family and friends. It's a real shame.

My condolences to his family and our extended ih8mud family.

RIP Logan! Tough week to lose another Hokie!

I do not know what to say rght now. Am just speechless. RIP Logan. My condolences and prayers to the family.

This is sad. Please send my condolences to his family.

I didn't know Logan very well - only met him briefly on one trail ride. I was friends with him on FaceBook and often saw his profile updates. While this was a tragic death of such a young man, I know he lived life to its fullest. I know there is plenty of rocks and snow where he is now, may he rest in peace.

We were just starting to plan on the rebirth of his cruiser for the Cruising Carolina event. We talked about it at dinne last week and were going to at my place on saturday.

At some point i'm going to talk to his Dad and see if I can get it running again to make an apperance anyway at the event in September. Even if I have to push it the 16.1 miles to the outpost i'll do it that way.

RIP Logan. Only met once or twice, but knew him through his posts.
Look forward to seeing you in heaven buddy.

So sorry to hear this, I only got to wheel with Logan once at URE but you could tell right away that he was a great guy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Fair Winds and Following Seas Brother.

My condolances to Logan's family and friends.

Logan was a great kid. He will be missed:frown:

I never met Logan but seeing all the responses on the boards he must of been a good man and a very knowledgeable cruiser guy. Please send my condolences and prayers to family and freinds.
