Hey all, just moved up from Texas and looking for a good alignment shop. I tried one shop already just based on them being able to fit me in the same day, even though they got most values within spec, it still drove like crap.

The vehicle is a fj cruiser with total chaos lt. Looking for a shop that will drive and adjust instead of just aligning to spec.

There are others that should chime in soon that know more about the intricacies of the FJ lift kits that may be able to guide you.

Last time I had an alignment done Shore Tire just north of 95th and I-35 on the KS side did well.

Can you post up a pic of the values they got you set to?

I don't have my spec sheet anymore, lost it somewhere. None the less it might not even be accurate anymore. I went for a trip out in Colorado after the alignment and ended up with the steering wheel completely tilted. Brought it back to the shop once I got back in town and found that the tierod extension had loosened. Not sure if they ever threw it back up on the alignment machine to re-check everything.

I would assume most shops will only do factory specs. I don't know that kit spicifically by more toe may required than spec. That is common in lifted vehicles. I'm not sure if 4wheelparts carries that line they may be familiar with it? It's worth calling them to discuss sence they are in overland park now. Otherwise get direction from manufacture and take those to a shop.

I can recommend my friend at big o here in Columbia. I ran fox lift from all pro with adjustable control arms. He adjusted based on their specs. There are no longer on the website. Total chaos should be able to tell you what the caster and camber should be.
