Also replaced the antenna “ornament” (ie rubber surround) as the previous one was disintegrating due to the sun and heat.

Nope! But I like the contrast.
Got it ….
I was simply enquiring because changing that bulb to LED makes for an awesome DRL. 😊

A few small updates to the thread. Removed the wiring for the UN-spec CODAN radio because I wanted to install wiring for my Dometic (which usually lives in the Troopy but might be useful for summer family trips in the 76). Everything about it was heavy duty...

Drove it in -30C weather to get the tires changed at Costco (perfect timing, too cold for any salt on the roads). Started and drove perfect.

In my week at home, I was able to do some tiny improvements to Ali and also go on a nice trip. Among the parts haul from Japan were some tiny details for Ali.

Replaced the worm drive clamps in the engine bay with the OEM ones. Before:

Finished the Dometic fridge/12V socket wiring and installed it behind the rear seats:

Went on a nice trip:

We forgot to take any water on our trip (first trip of the year always leads to some rookie mistakes), so instead we headed around to the creek to make lunch.

Couldn't resist making a little video crossing the creek on the way out:
