The most ridiculous longshot Mudship request ever.....

Might be buying a rig out of Alaska. Anyone feel like dropping it off on their way out east?

Longshot but never hurts to ask!!!

John

dude,

you need to find a college grad, that you can trust and still hasn't found a job.

fly them to alaska and let them drive it back east.

if i wasn't old and married, with kids i'd do it in a heart beat.

thought about that but was worried if it broke down etc I'd be on the hook for more flights and a long tow. Actually if someone could drive it from Anchorage to Seattle that would help out huge!!

My wife and I are headed to Alaska in our van. What are we talking about? A 40? Is it towable?Shoot me a pm with details. I will have internet for another day. I'm currently at a lodge in the Yukon area headed for points north in a few days.

peace, bob

Humm...I am not a college student but man that would be sweet. Any extra details, I might know someone willing to drive it back.

Did some research....it's 76 hours to drive from Anchorage to Boston. It's 45 hours to drive from Anchorage to Seattle. Long ass trip. It would be an FJ55. Shipping rates I've been quoted are between $1800-$2800 to Boston.

Not sure this would work as paying for gas, hotels and time for someone to drive it out at 12 mpg would likely cost just as much.

My father would be up for this......

62 year old retired, all he does now is travel & always looking for a new place to visit or a road trip....

PM me if you interested.

I live in Anchorage

Have you found someone? If you just want it to seattle then riding the ferry is easy out of haines junction and only a few days. Which I could swing no problem. If you want it to the east coast that is a long expensive drive. And alot more leave I would need to take and tools to bring. PM me if interested.

Pat

Ended up buying one from Illinois. thanks though
