Hey guys i am having a very strange problem with my LX470. I went to the car wash today and the sunroof leaked down both front foot wells and from the sunroof its self. I need to try and clean the drain holes but my other problem is that the security light (the red key on the dash) stays light continuly now and i am thinking that it is because of the water. Any ideas on how to resolve this. i already tried disconnecting the battery.

Thanks in advance.

You have problems!
Although this problem may go away itself, you have water in an electrical connector somewhere which is tracking to ground or to an adjacent pin or power supply. You need to dry it out if possible. First I would find the sunroof drains and get a compressor and blow backwards up them to clear them then run water through them to make sure they are absolutely clear. (clean in and around the sunroof where the drain start from as well) Then find where the water leaked on your floor and pull conectors apart that are wet and blow them dry. It probably ran down the wiring harnesses and into connectors. Water itself in a pure form is not a conductor, but when mixed with dirt, grime, soot, tree sap etc it is. You may be lucky that this problem goes away itself but the best chance for survival is to spend some hours getting things dry., then make sure the drains don't get full of crap again.

The problem corrected itself today because I am assuming that things dried out. The sunroof sounded like it was open when the car wash blower started pushing the water in. It was closed all of the way but later leaked in from the sunroof and the two floor boards...weird. Where do the drains exit exactly. I have searched and found some instructions but not an exact location for their exit. Any help would be much appreciated.
