My LC has an electric leak and drains the battery twice a week or so. Need to fix it asap. It is parked in the garage. Every time I try to jump-start it, it honks so loud I can't handle this anymore. Sometimes I can quickly unlock the doors and it is quiet. But other times it doesn't respond for a while and I wake up neighbors and family.

I tried to remove Horn fuse but that doesn't help. Is there a different fuse that I can remove or maybe just directly unplug the horn?

I suspect that you have an aftermarket alarm system. I have an aftermarket alarm in one of our 100 series, and have had to contend with this, during the coronapocalypse, a few times. I've learned to just disconnect the horns (at the physical horns) before I connect the battery charger.

EITHER troubleshoot and fix the issue, or disconnect the horns as mentioned above. Take a business card, flip it over, write HORNS in a fat tipped Sharpie, and put it over the speedo before you exit the rig. That way you'll have a can't-miss-it reminder before you drive away the next time.

Have you tried just having the key inserted into the ignition? Not turned at all, just inserted. I was having some issues and would have the alarm go off a lot and inserting the key seems to do the trick of keeping it silent.
