Here is some wiring info I was given from Bruce Steele
Instructions for the many folks with an AISIN winch but no controler for it...
The power and ground connections should be fairly easy to figure out.
From inside the solonoid pack to Warn controller via new Amphenol
parts:
White -24v power with ignition on.. connect to white and red
on new style Warn" winch controller.
Yellow -ground ..connect to brown on controller
Blue w/red tracer... connect to Green on controller
Blue w/white tracer... connect to black on controller
Disregard the green wire in winch (temp sensor)
Amphenol numbers needed to replace the plug system
for the Toyota winch system. The cost for this complete plug assembly is
about $60.00 and is ordered and shipped from Toronto through Electrosonic Canada
in Richmond.
The part #'s are
97-3106A-14S-6P new threaded back shell on winch, pin inserts, plug guts etc.
97-3057-1007-1 cable clamp holding wire up to .312 thou. thick.
The centre guts of the the backing socket(plug on the winch solonoid
pack) can just be changed but if the entire assembly is replaced due to
both abuse or loss as mine was it still has sixteenth centres for the
screws securing it so it just a straight swap in the same mounting
holes with the numbers I have given you. Just solder wires. The
Toyota plug centre is JAE and the new one is SAE. Go figure.
The controler is the new Warn model available at NSOR for $65.00.

Cool, I have a 12v Aisin that I want to put on my 80 soon. Won't be as good as 24v but oh well.
