I have the following problem on my 1HDFTE engine, and I cannot solve it! Maybe one of the 100 owners here had the same problem!
If I do not switch off the aircon before I switch off the engine then the light comes on and stays on until I reset it! IIRC it is Code 33 and all parts have been renewed according to manual/instructions that leads to that error!
The wiring harness was replaced as well as all sensors etc. Vehicle was equipped with a viscous heater, which I removed, as it was not needed here in South Africa, and I could use the shorter belt instead!
Any hints what to look for?
