Hi, Is that make a big difference for the power or performance if I change my stock air filter for a K&N air filter ?

Also, give me some exemple to improve my air filter unit.

I have 3B engine - BJ60

Thank.

It may be possible to squeeze a small gain by replacing the stock paper cyclone setup with a K&N, but if you can notice the increase i would be very supprised, and for the cost, is it really worth it? The paper filter is actually a very good design and is large enough for the engine, and the elements do a great job and are reasonable in price. The stock setup has nothing but acclaim for dusty conditions.

To improve the stock setup you might re-direct the air intake to a cooler location with a snorkle, but other than that there is not much that can be done. I was thinking dual stock filters in parallel, but its a little more work than i'd like to think about.

try this, when i get down the road and have more money if can afford to keep the cruiser thru my finace probs, i am thinkign of running dual snorkels and dual filters.
