I wore through my original seat in the same trouble spot. Then I got Toyota to replace the driver seat because of the sinking seat issue. Then I babied the seat until I got my Clazzio seat covers, which have 1/2" of foam. I added another 1/2" of foam to my entire front section of my seat back and put another chunk of 1/2" foam over the trouble spot when I installed the seat covers. So... with my extra 1 1/2" of foam on my seat, it hasn't worn through again in over a year since I put in the seat covers, which still look brand new.
