Hi

I have a 100 series with airbags fitted into the rear coils.
Dropped the diff yesterday so as to remove a sheared off bolt from the floor pan and found that the air bags block off the large drain hole in the top of the coil tower which then traps mud and probably helps promote rust in the tower.
Mine was a solid block of dried mud, talking 5" x 2" solid.

Anyone have any experience in how to get around this problem otherwise the bags will be removed.

OK, well the large drain hole is not a drain hole.
It appears that when you fit air bags, you have to drill a 1.5" (or thereabouts) hole in place of the bolt that held in the bump stop. Whoever did mine did such a good job that I thought it was factory.
