Hi,
I have been trying to find information on what the steps would be to remove the AHC suspension but I haven't had any luck. Could anyone point me in the direction of a tech thread or give me some advice on how to do it properly. I have 1999 lx 470 and as I like the AHC it is annoying that with any load it reverts back to the normal height setting. Thanks!

What banana mechanic are you? My thought is to start from the shocks and follow all of the lines until you get everything out from under the vehicle. You can probably cut the lines and leave them but that's half-assing it.

I should have been more specific my question really is, is the fluid under pressure? Can I go and just drain the fluid and start removing stuff assuming I turn off the system from the control panel? I think you meant to say "what kind of banana mechanic are you?"

The fluid is under pressure, you need to use the bleed screws to drain and release the pressure. The banana is used as a scale to how difficult a job is, so you where being asked how able you are to carry out the job, your skill level, not what kind of banana  you are...if that makes sense..

Are you saying that with the vehicle in H or L it reverts back to N when you start driving? You may be describing how the system is designed to function; or you may just need some very basic, inexpensive maintenance.

Sorry to jump in on this thread but I have a question for Paddo. Are the lower bushes for the shock absorbers the same front and back, I am changing the fronts this weekend but can't find any info on the rear bushes. Thanks
