Mates,

I have decided to go with 285/65/18 on my LX until AHC craps out. In the event that sh*t hits the fan while I am on the trail, will I be able to limp home in its lowest default setting without rubbing?

Thanks,

Mates,

Thanks,

I was curious so I went out, put my car into the LO position and drove around (slowly).... no rubbing on steering full lock ... my tyres are 285/75/16 .. so fairly similar if not taller than the ones you are getting ... I would suggest you do the same -just to be sure ... :grinpimp:

Now, my question is, what sort of mess would one have to get into to have their AHC select LO and switch OFF!!! Given that its default malfunction position is N.....
:hhmm:

My tires are still on order, thnx for your experiment result, that makes me feel better with my tire decision
