AHC fluid source

Hey Guys,

New member here, just bought a 03 LX470 with the AHC. Looking forward to building it up for expedition use but I'm planning to remain at or near stock weight (no bumpers etc)., so AHC will stay for now. I have the mini-VCI on the way, which seems to be really the main thing required to check system status.

The reason for posting here is to ask for any recent inexpensive sources for AHC fluid. Called up a couple of dealers here in SE Michigan, they all want $50 and above for the 2.5L can. I've read people finding them for as low as $30 but those threads are all 2 or 3 years old, so any recent experience with this would be greatly appreciated!

Congrat and welcome to Mud! You can check with Beno or Dan, vendors on this site. They have great service and price for Toyota parts.

I don't know if online sources will ship fluid. Did you call your local Toyota dealers? Ask for 2006-07 LC suspension fluid (not 'AHC fluid'). Retail price should be $41.94

$30-ish this past summer from Tom Scott Toyota in Nampa, ID...near boise. 2 cans will flush the system and give you some left over.

Thanks for all the input and comments. Seems like shipping shouldnt be a problem, I found a source on Ebay for $35ish but there's no way to know if its genuine toyota fluid or not?

Will check with the vendors here as suggested.
