Anyone tried one of these? Looks like it removes the Nav, CD and Climate. The on screen shows climate controls built in to the system.

I'd love to upgrade to an aftermarket unit, but would want to keep climate and rear dvd. I know there was the option to plug something behind to get an android OS, but it looked way to clunky to me.

This could be a good solution if it actually integrates climate control...

Yeah, that is the other alternative. There is a Toyota Part with the 4 zone climate that integrates to the DVD unit which would allow you to add a regular 2 din. Hard time finding it used (most I find in foreign markets have the 2 zone). And then you'd still be left with a non functioning rear dvd.

I wish Toyota would simplify the system. Seems like the opposite is happening in new cars. The aftermarket car stereo market will probably dry up.
