Aftermarket power lock on a 60 tailgate?

[Southbound]

I'm installing aftermarket power locks in my 60 but can't figure out any way to incorporate the tailgate lock assembly into the system. Anybody successfully done this?
I know the 62 power lock system incorporates the tailgate, maybe I should just order the 62 parts...
