Aftermarket amp-Where to install!

I am bypassing my JBL amp and installing a new Memphis MR4-480 along with Memphis M-Class components and coaxial. Is there a place where I can hide the amp? My installer wants to install in the back floor. Have you huys had any success in hiding an extra amp?

Remove the factory and install the new one in it's place.

That's exactly right. Either remove the stock amp under the passenger seat and put it there, or put it behind one of the plastic panels in the back. I did the latter only because I had other components to put under the seat, i.e. NAV-TV unit, sound controller.

I unscrewed the storage compartment and removed it entirely and placed the amp behind that plastic panel. I never used that compartment anyways and it's only a bunch of screws holding it in place (12 or so). The hinge cover stays in place but once you open it, you have access to the amp.
