Short Question: Any issue mounting OEM tire size, 265/70/R17 Tires on an 8.5" Rim?

Rubs the tire on the inner tub part of the side steps.

They are -12 Offset. Will that make a difference? Planning to trip the side-steps anyway, I guess we will see how it goes. Thanks!
Maybe, I have SCS Stealth 6 17x8.5 -10 offset and it rubs but it could be better or worse depending on tire choice.
not sure what difference.....if any.....on my GX 460
LT 265-70x17s.....8.5" Fuel wheel with +7 offset
very slight rub/full lock.....plenty of tire/wheel on this DD......
