As of right now I don't have any plans for Thxgiving except dinner with the family here locally. God knows I don't belong in the damn malls so that leaves a free Fri-Sun opening for camping or wheeling.

Don't have anything specific in mind so thought I'd throw it out there, I'm looking for ideas... maybe NC/TN neck of the woods.

I'll be out of town over Thanksgiving...the calendar mentions wheeling first weekend of Nov - that still planned?
I'd be up for something in Nov, but would have to look at the 13th or 20th??

yeah we have the weekend set aside but nothing firm yet. If we do anything it will most likely be a forest service road exploration type of ride. If anyone has some input of where to go we're certainly open to suggestions.

I'm starting to look at some new territory, Skyline anyone? nothing crazy but some good trails from pics I've seen.

First weekend in november trail ride is surf and turf pismo beach california see you there!!!:p

Royal Blue requires non resident hunting license, and some other things. Totaling about $140ish for an out of stater. Looked into it while I was at Coal Creek last month.

not sure that applies for day riding, found on an ATV forum and that was not mentioned at all.. Pretty dumb if they make you buy a hunting license to ride the trails... efff that....

anyway, going to Mountainside off road this weekend if anyone wants in and may be up for some after thanksgiving riding as well..

talked to Sidney last night, he's talking about going to Durhamtown if you guys are interested. I still haven't decided on what or where I'm going or doing. still open to ideas but I'd like to go north a couple of hours and explore.

edit: forgot, there's a bunch from the expo site going up to Green Cove area off trail 1 in Tellico, it'd be cool to see what's going on up there.

there's no plan really, i tried. I wanted to get a group together to go to skyline on Friday maybe but these guys would all rather go shopping with their wives instead.:flipoff2:

Sidney mentioned going to Durhamtown either Fri or Sat but nothing solid yet.

I'm "batching" it these days so free to do whatever. I'm headin' down to my bros hunting club this eventing for a big thanksgiving dinner tomorrow near Monticello/Covington neck of the woods.

If there's enough interest today for a Durhamtown ride on Friday (assuming they're open) I'd drive the trail rig to my brothers and then shoot to DT on Friday morning. Otherwise, I'm sticking with my current plan of driving the DD to my brothers and then back tomorow evening for a Friday morning trip to Tellico to camp with some folks near the sate line camp ground off trail 1.

All depends on what happens in this thread in the next several hours, decisions...decisions.....

let's see what develops.

Thanks for the warning, I will be sure to keep the women and children off the streets and tell the bars to stock up on cheap buorbon.
