As a newbie in here, I spent a lot of time reading and learning about all tricks and DYI for the GX470. Changed all components of the front suspension including Bilstein shocks. Did the rear airbag trick in the rear.
After getting a little crazy off-road the right airbag pop off the vehicle. I read that can happen, not often. So I did the spring conversion with FJ cruiser springs since it was my fastest and cheapest solution for the moment.
But...... Now the front is like 2"lift (bilstein on top perch with oem springs) and rear with almost OEM height.
I am leaning on Dobinsons springs for the rear to get it leveled, but not sure where to buy or which one to buy. Cant find it on Amazon.

Any advice is appreciated.

I used this guide to figure out what springs I wanted in the rear when I did my conversion. It has all of the info you need to compare the different options (spring rates, estimated lift height, spring thickness, and length).

For example, I knew I wanted variable rate springs and was torn between the 675v and 677v. I was worried the 677v would be too stiff since I only saw the added lift height listed on other sites. Then I found that thread and saw the only difference between the 675v and 677v is that the 677v was slightly longer. No added stiffness over the 675v for the added height, so comfort wouldn't be sacrificed.

Thanks for the info. Based on this guide I will pick the 675v (No added weight on my GX).

Does anyone has pictures with that setup? or measurements .....( top perch on Bilstein and OEM shocks in front , Dobinsons 675v in back).

I have 675v springs in rear with icon extended length shocks. See all the details here Builds - Homer's 2003 GX470 Build

I’m 23.5” in rear and 22.625” in the front with Bilstein 6112s on 2nd highest perch.

Double post...how to delete?

I have the opposite problem. I have a GX with a 2" lift on the back that I want to remove. I need standard size springs. Anyone in cental Illinois that want to swap? I have old man emu springs.
