pretty amazing trailer.

I think Jason Peters has a military trailer he was going to prep like that.

I'd be happy with one that had a folddown platform big enough for a tent, get you up off the ground and out of the wet.

thats not an expedition trailer:)))
I think I have more int he wheels and tires thn the trailer itself. SOA on 35's
this was an urgent project then got put on the back burner for awhile then got worked on again. I pretty much have it setup. right i.e. SOA 35's hub swap cruiser wheels and a tail gate cut in.
right now it is seeing real use getting stone home for a stone wall that I am building. like today Fox has a nice pile that I was able to go make a tad smaller and fab up a new front winch bumper for my lv but more on that on wilma's thread int he 45 section.
but anyway it seems that the trailers completion time frame is goign to get bumped up to this summer in thta my Dad and Brother want to do a trek to Ithica NY for a family reunion on there combo motorcyles and want me to be a support vehicle. so I am guna need that tent on the trailerL)
really the trailer just needs to be cleaned up and painted and the tent platform either made or bought. still figureing out how i want it.

yep:)
as I said the wheels and tires are prolly more expensive than the trailer itself.I think the wheel tire combo pushes 900 for the pair. why you ask??? cause it was there...
they are 315r16 mtr's its what i really wan tto run on one of my cruisers someday.

i thought you could not find them... you used tohave only one... where did you get the other?

a local tire place got it for me. you can get them now but they are like 275 a tire that adds up quick when you need 5 :(

did you buy all 5 you animal? DAMN dude... nice move. i happen to love my Toyo MTs

nope I just have 2 right now and they are on the trailer. i need to get a new spare tire and am debating getting another mtr or getting a 5th trxus. the 315 mtr's are really a big tire and I am not sure I have a vehicle that can fit them right now and I am still on the fence as to how high the lv will get..

back to trailers. i have a line on a clam shell tent that i plan to stick on the trailer we'll see.
Jason

Looks like I'll be joining this crowd.............pick up my M101 tomorrow. :D

Jason, what did you use for hubs and drums? Cruiser wheels will be at the top of the list for me.

These things are cool!

Jim that trailer will look nice behind the fj45lv your are going to trade your fj25 to treeroot for:)

Thanks Jason. Too small for a LV, no trades anyhow, I need a project like a hole in the head. ;)

Hey Jim,

Nice looking trailer! These are fun projects. Mine needed a fair amount of cleaning up and I had to break the spring packs apart, grind/paint, and new hardware. I repainted it LC rustic green and plan on lining the bed with some type of DIY liner.

Another option is having the stock hub studs cut off and redrilled to cruiser spec as Nick so generously did for me. It now fits cruiser wheels.

Good luck with the resto.

Randy

very cool. i think we are going to see some nice trailers come to the fall gathering!

myself? i think i am going to go with an INTI roof rack

Henry does have a nice fj62 "Princes" and he has an awsome trailer too. he was one of the first to set up a 1/4 expedition trailer I camped next to him at my first Fall Gathering back when the Princess was white.

got my new tent. its guna be awhile before I even get to play with it:) cause i am headed for Hawaii on Moday for 2 weeks for work, which isn't a bad thing but it is not a cruiser thing thats for sure.
