It has been confirmed that we will be meeting with OHV coordinator Greg Hoffman on 7/30 to survey 3N08. Because I'm also coordinating trails for Trail Crew's trail 2N87Y, we will kill two birds with one stone and survey their trail on the same day near Baldwin Lake. The hope is to be done before 3pm. It sounds like we will have Senior Editor Ben Crockett from 4wd Toyota Owner magazine accompany us. The goal is to get other clubs and individuals to get involved and participate in working together with the USFS to keep our trails unlocked and safe. This should be a family leisure paced day. Bring a lunch and some drinks and enjoy a Sunday stroll through the SBNF.

The plan is to meet at the McDonalds off I-15 and Sierra Highway between 7:30 and 8:00. We need to meet Greg at the USFS station near the Big Bear Discovery Center at 9:00. If you plan on making it, please post up or email me at dozertraxx@aol.com.

Chris Herron, can you send out a mass email to all club members?

I think I should be able to make this trip...provided I get my carb to run well by next weekend (no time to work on it with a swimming meet all this weekend and out of town for work)... How narrow are these trails? Could an Expedition fit or not get trashed if I can't get the LC runnning well in time?

If it's the expedition that I think it is, I doubt these small uneventful trails would cause any problems. Hope you can make it, Chris!
