Since Toyota's current specs on the website leave a lot to be desired, I weighed her in on some local scales. Stock 2024 LC 1958 edition (with rear cargo mat as only add on), 2 car seats, and maybe 10 other pounds of stuff in it, plus myself. Yes, I know they don't add up to the total. The people said the scales are accurate to about plus/minus 20 lbs. Getting the front/rear axle on by itself wasn't an exact science and there was a bit of slope on each end of the scale. So take it or leave it. Close enough for me.

FYI - This is with a full tank of gas.

curb weight (me and my stuff subtracted out)kg
Both5,3502,427
Front axle2,6551,204
Rear axle2,6751,213

This is the weight with me and the aforementioned in it.

The conventional payload calculation of subtracting curb weight from gross vehicle weight rating yields a payload here of about 1375 lbs (excluding driver and fuel weight). This is generally consistent with the tech stream data Beno earlier posted.

Toyota still doesn't even have it right..unless @LCQ weighs in at 500 lbs?

I weighed mine (GX OT+) to get a baseline for future mods and choosing springs.

Mine came with the port optioned frame sliders and Lexus roof rack. The roof rack has been removed. The below is with a full tank of gas, I was not in the GX and only normal items in the car (recovery gear removed).

Total weight = 5,620lb
Front Axle = 3,020lb (note, axle maximum capacity = 3,460lb)
Rear Axle = 2,600lb (note, axle maximum capacity = 4,100lb)

With a GVWR of 7,165lb I am back at exactly 1,545lb of payload (within scale error) for me and my stuff. Not intentional, rather amazed by that happening to work out.

I measured the hub center to outside lip of the fender flares at the same time.

Driver Front = 21 inches
Driver Rear = 22 inches
Pax Front = 20 1/2 inches
Pax Rear = 22 1/4 inches

Interesting your LC is almost a perfect 50%/50% weight distribution versus the GX @ 54% front and 46% rear. I’ll attribute the difference in mix to the hybrid battery over your rear axle.

I am not sure about 50-50 weight distribution. Cool for sports car. Might be bd for something that is going to get loaded down. That is going to lift front wheels up when climbing steep hills.

I am curious about the weight distribution once we add secondary fuel tank and spare tire carrier. Might need to figure out a way to bring main battery back up front.

An actual weight caught in the wild. Otw out to SE Utah I helped myself to the state line scales. Handy.

Will add more of the breakdown in a future edit below. This includes 460 lbs of dog and human. Same rig from OP, but a few more mods and additions. Handled fine at this weight and the rear squat was minimal. I’ve had it more loaded down on a previous trip but did not weigh it then.
