This looks like an awesome low profile bumper! Good alternative to the Coastal Offroad bumper. Interested to see where this goes.

I appreciate the effort but winch access sucks. Line of sight to the drum to watch the line feed on is bad. Like most hidden winch bumpers. To unfowl the winch line you would need to pop the hood and remove the plastic cover.

Overall, I dig it. That’s the level of protection I seek from a bumper, just enough to protect from the big rock/tree stump I didn’t see soon enough on the dark trail or for a slight slide by.

Like some, and unlike others, I don’t need an all beef bumper than can be abused many trips every year and winch me over obstacles monthly. I use my rig mostly to get remote, explore and camp (I guess we call that overlanding now). That takes us down some derelict trails and some basic trails, not generally ultra demanding obstacle ridden boulder fields. I want some protection, and maybe even the option of a winch mount, even though I don’t plan to regularly use it.

I think these hybrid bumpers have their market for the GX crowd. I just hope they work on that center fitment a bit, but sounded like they will.

Glad to see new products continuing to make their way to market but I think that thing is hideous.
