AC issue blowing cold air even turn off

My 09 200 blows cold air even it is off completely. I check the cooler and it is off and I turned on the recirculate button. When I am on the freeway, cold air still flowing and I have to dial the vent to completely off. I am wondering I messed up the vent when I changed the cabin filter last month.

Any owner experience that?

Might pay to check filter fitment. Remember to make sure its set to Recirculate (not "Fresh Air In") when you pop open filter housing. If you tried to change it with "Fresh Air In" you may have broken the plastic lugs. Not sure how that would have prevented the air con from turning off however. Odd.

I guess that must be the problem cause I pryed it pretty bad and I heard a pop sound. I was able to turn off AC completely but there is still air flow.
I guess I need a trip to the dealer
