I have a 1999 land cruiser, AC is not working clutch will not engage. it has a charge "I have a gauge set" from reading trouble codes and forums it looks like I need to replace AC amp part # 88650-60360" I have been searching the dash and can not find this amp box yet.. can someone give me clear directions to it? I have taken dashes out before just don't want to if I don't have to lol

It is located on the rear A/C control box, number #8 in the image posted above.

MANY reasons an A/C clutch would not engage. Have you 'jumped' the clutch to see if it functional?

Some where I'm sure I saw how to bypass the AC amp on a 100 series (99) but cannot seem to find it today so any help would be great! I removed the rear quarter cover and can access it but hate to throw the $ at a new one right off. Thanks

So I’m in the same boat… how did this end up? Solved? Bypassed? Very curious before I spend the money on the amp.
