ABS module programming?

All my ABS-related idiot lights came on at once and the tech said that they couldn't see the ABS module on the scanner. Everything up to it checks out so I'm looking at replacing it. Looks easy enough to install but dealer wants $125 to program it. Is it one of those dealer-only things again?

So I just checked in my solus ultra scanner, on a 2002, since that's kinda mid year model on the 100's.
The scanner has the reset option for the abs module, but, if you don't have access to a scan tool or buddies with one, it's a lot less $$ to just pay the dealer to do it. Scanner from snap-on is gonna run you about $3900, so, unless you want it and have money to spend, dealer seems like a good alternative.
