??? about VAIS in 03 LC, Ive searched....

So I think Ive determined that this works for the 03 and later LC. But I have 3 questions that I need answered.

1. Does this thing allow you to browse and choose songs by artist, album, song, etc...or just playlists?

2. Does it work on all the iPhone 4 models like the 4S, etc...?

3. Can I listen to Pandora through this interface?

No, you can create up to 99 playlists and switch between those with the factory controls. Otherwise you have basic track UP/DOWN with the stock controls on the dash and steering wheel. The iPod/iPhone retains all of it's controls, and I do all my track searching/selection on the iPhone itself.

2. Does it work on all the iPhone 4 models like the 4S, etc...?

Yes, works with my iPod or iPhone 4s. Does not work with any model iPad, as Apple for some reason changed the audio output/control ability on the docking port.

3. Can I listen to Pandora through this interface?

Yes, I listen to mostly Spotify and some Pandora through my VAIS SL2i-UP. Any app on the iPhone or iPod touch will output through the VAIS to the factory stereo.

Confirm Anthony's answers. I leave my SL2i-Up in manual mode (disable controls through touch screen or steering wheel) and make my song selection on my iPhone 4S.

One thing to note: During the initial install I think I actually partially blocked the GPS receiver with the SL2i box and my GPS reception went to hell. I took it apart again and repositioned it and the GPS is fine now. I routed my iPhone connection cable to the right side of the driver foot well. This allows me to mount the iphone with a windshield suction cup mount or place it in the little cubby next to the gear shift.
