I've been looking through the forums for roughly the past year and a half and I have finally joined the club. My 2013 LX570 arrived Thursday and I've been more than happy with it. Once I found this low mileage 2013 white/beige LX 570 I jumped on it. I can't believe how smooth and quite this thing rides! The hype for these is real, its one of the best vehicles I feel I've been inside.

Moving to Colorado soon so looking forward to get into the mountains and the beautiful land out there. I'll be getting a bike rack to go along with this and I think I'm leaning towards the 1Up bike racks. I'll be ordering Husky floor liners soon.

Currently the tires seem fine, no visible dry rot but they are 7 years old. I'll most likely upgrade to Falken Wildpeaks once I'm out in Colorado.

Overall very happy with the vehicle and excited to join the club!

Congrats! I just bought a clean White 13 myself but with black interior. The price of the 13’s are at the sweet spot and you save thousands over the 14’s and 15’s for the same vehicle .

Unlike any other vehicle I’ve owned, you really do feel special climbing into the LX!

Congratulations on the new ride. What brings you to Colorado, change of scenery or career?

Honestly, I think the 2014’s are the best deal going right now. I say this because the 2013’s were all (from what I can tell) early builds—built in mid-late 2012. The 2015’s were very similar, built in late 2014. BUT the 2014’s I’ve seen were actually built in 2014, and some of them as far as mid-2014. To me this makes them the sweet spot. You’re getting a vehicle that is essentially two years newer (think rubber hoses and other stress items such as suspension, etc) for not much more money.

Congrats c2!

One congrats...for a great choice...

Another congrats...for soon moving to a place that is basically a perfectly matched terrain for LC & LXs...Colorado!

What part of CO are you headed toward?

I’m a dog guy, but that a pretty dang cool cat. 😁

Welcome, and be sure to post up as you get out and about in your new beast!

Thanks! I'm Heading out there for a new job, I was focusing my search mainly on Colorado for my next career move and found a great opportunity.

Thanks for both! I'm extremely excited to be able to test the LX out in Colorado, Its going to be a lot of fun!

I'm heading to Denver, so that should put me in a fairly good position close enough to mountain biking, off roading, skiing, and snowboarding.

As far as dogs go I love them, I can't wait to have one. But unfortunately for me I'm not home enough to be fair for a dog. I'm also still in an apartment for about a year or so. Once I have a house and have more time to be with a dog I'll get one.

I'll for sure track my experience in Colorado and post up some good adventures once I'm out there.

Congrats and welcome! Great choice. :) Good luck with the move and new job.

Congrats on the new ride and the new job! Check out the LX pic thread and post trip pics there often. Especially once you get those Falkens installed.

Congratz! Any plans to take your cat on the slopes? :)

I probably won’t be able to get her to enjoy the ride out there. I might lose her in the snow anyways with the white fur. It will be interesting to see what she does in snow, we don’t get much of that in Alabama.

Nice! If I had a do-over on my 200 purchase, I would get exactly what you got, except for the cat. I’m a dog person. ;) If those are the original tires, the LX must be very low miles,

I will be sure to get some pictures in there once I go on some trips and get the new tires installed.

Yep! Right under 20k miles on them.

This past weekend I decided to remove the third row seats from the LX. I knew I wanted a cargo liner for the rear so I looked into what I could find to cover the holes left by the removed seats. From what I researched I only could find the Cargo mats from AUS and the new Lexus LX 2 row mats Part#(PT908-60180-20). Due to my time crunch for my move to Colorado I bit the bullet and paid a bit more ($175 total for the mat) for the ability to get a lexus cargo mat before the trip.

Overall the fit of the 2row version of the cargomat in my 2013 LX570 is fine. There one very small annoyance, that I will forget about within a week, that the driverside 3rd row seatbelt get very slightly in the way of the mat laying down perfectly. Overally this is not an issue, its 99.99% purley cosmetic, and I don't see it causing any problems in the future. It's the small part of me wanting this new to me vehicle to be perfect in everyway.

Congrats on the LX! Very nice 👍 it will be great in the mountains and snow.Ive been reading up some on the 3rd row seatbelts as mine is currently all the way out and won’t retract on our 14 LC.It seems like a lot of folks remove them don’t know if that’s an option for you so you can clear the mat.Good luck with the move and new job.

Thanks for the information I'll look into that. It very well could be an option. I'll need to check and see how easily it can be removed and put back in if I need to use those seats in the future.

Thanks for the suggestion @jsuthey. I decided to just remove the seatbelt connection to the floorboard. It was simple to do, just pull back the carpet around where the belt is attached to the floor and unscrew the single 14mm bolt. I pulled the lower portion of the seatbelt up and stuck it in the holder on the wall. No raddling or noise coming from this setup. I may in the future try and find a cleaner solution for the seatbelt but it works fine for the time being, and the mat can finally lay flat!
