A750 flush question

I'm going to flush the transmission through the cooler (standard procedure, draining 2 qts at the time) and I was thing if it's possible to refill the transmission through the return cooler line with a hand pump instead of filling through the fill plug at the pan?

I know that the transmission relies on the pressure to return the fluid to the pan from the cooler, so just let the engine run and exchange all fluid is not possible.

Easy as, mine's the 03 with the dipstick so I refilled 2 litres each time thru it, otherwise I would have just connected a hose and funnel to the return line and done it that way.
