Wanted A442F oil pump

I have a 1991 HDJ81 with a cooked ATF pump.

If anyone knows of a tranny that doesn't need it's pump anymore.....

Well, I've let one of the local transmission guys yank my unit (that's about it!) to discover the oil/fluid pump is hooped, hence the original post.
After sending it away to a machine shop and re-installing it, he discovered that it pukes oil just as badly as it did in the first place.
My biggest problem is that it's already taken 3 months to get this far!
What I really need is help finding a cooked or grenaded early fzj80 A442F transmission (that could be an oil pump donor) so I can finally just get it fixed.
Somebody must have a pile of spare parts kicking around, or knows of someone that does.

Got a spare A442F out of an FJ80 that you can have for cheep. Unfortunately the FJ80 oil pump part numbers show same as HZJ80 ATM but not HDJ81 ATM, not sure whether it means it won't work or if it's something inconsequential.

I guess it would be an A440F if it's out of an FJ80.
At any rate.. IIRC the part number for the A442F in the 90/01 up HDJ81 is same as the
pump in the 92/08 up FZJ, so you *could* get one out of Toyota for only about a million dollars.
Have you checked with Rodney at Wholesale automatics in AUS?
