A442F ECT compatibility

Hi,

My tranny's ECT is dead ... I am having a hard time finding an ECT here in Panama or a whole A442F for that matter ... does anyone know if the FZJ80's ECT is compatible with the 1HD-T engine?

If so ... do you know where I could find one?

I should know in the next couple of weeks if everything works out right.. I am just about finished the swap of a 1HD-T A442 into my 93 FZJ80. I have a 1HD-T ECT computer but was going to try the stock FZ ECT box out on the diesel tranny first to see what happens.. I do know that the plugs are the same, so you can definately plug it in.

Post 92/08 MFG HDJ80 with the electronic control tranny will have an ECT computer behind the driver side kick panel.
