Thanks for letting me know Dave. I bought the reinforcement channel and mounting plate but haven’t done anything with it. I’ll take some measurements as well when I get a chance to confirm. Will let you know if I draw a different conclusion as others also said it would work.
There are 8274 I have seen mounted above stock bumpers, not behind without extensions, I’m heading here too.

Yes. In order to fit, the winch plate would have to come out pretty much even with the front edge of the bumper. If you measure from the front edge of the bumper to the closest section of the rad support, you should have approximatley 8.5".

Measured mine, it’s on it’s side, so that is front to back.

Build some new OEM style bumper mounts out of some 4”x4”x3/16” or 1/4” square tubing. Cut it to look stockish except to the length you need. Maybe shim each side out with some shims made out of 14 or 16 ga sheetmetal so that sometime down the line when you want to pull it off, you won’t have to use a crow bar and a come-along.

There are four of these on my air cleaner, two top and two bottom. They go on the mounting brackets. I can’t find a part number for them. Surely there is one? Appreciate they might not be available but still...

I think they might have updated the part to include the wing nut with the insulator? I will try to get a pic off my 40 air cleaner.

These are not the air cleaner top hold downs. These are the insulating bushing things that are attached to the air cleaner mounting brackets (for the bottom half of the air cleaner). One front and one rear that bolt to the valve cover and two on the bottom bracket that bolt into the block. ToyDIY doesn't show the part at all so I assume it is a part of the bottom air cleaner assembly....at least as far as their diagrams are concerned.

Not the best photo but you can just see one of them on this bracket.

My filter element gaskets were in good shape and I reused them. The air filter lid gasket and the rubber grommets that serve as vibration dampeners where the air filter assembly is bolted (4 places total) were not. I used the following two parts from McMaster Carr and they both worked very well.

Edit: If anybody wants some of the grommets just let me know and I'll send them your way. I have plenty!

🤔 Do you need some ideas?

...downloading...

After posting the “after“ photo above I went out and rolled the air filter hose clamps 90 degrees....didn’t even break a sweat. 🤣

Hose clamps look great!
However, I happen to look past it a little ways...
Hmmmmm... looks a little dirty down there....

Yep; dirty and maybe a little rusty. I did sand and paint the charcoal canister....myself. Wasn't sure if it could be powder coated. Probably wouldn't have hurt it.

I should have pulled that radiator and had it powder coated at the same time.

What's the story on that sweet shop?

Well the wife and I have been looking for property in 4 different areas of Alabama to buy and discussing house ideas with an architect. Nothing too serious as we will still be out of the country for a couple of more years so no big rush. We wanted some acreage for things like chickens and goats, and maybe a camel and a donkey; seriously - her idea. On a whim we went to look at a house on a few acres convinced we still wanted to build and fell in love with the house. The shop comes with it. It’s heated and cooled and large enough for two full size motor homes....or maybe a land cruiser or two and a flatscreen. It’s pretty much a blank canvas at this point.
