Do the BJ and LJ-70s share the same body

I am the proud new owner of a 1988 LJ 70

My daughter (left) is a fresh air lover and the new rig has solid passenger windows and she will not be happy with this
So....if there is anyone out there who wants to trade for sliders. .....I'm interested

Looks like the rear quarter panels are the same....So the hole for the window should be the same...

Only from the windscreen back.

If you want sliders for the rear it shouldnt be a problem fitting them.Getting hold of some will be the problem.
Maybe a sun roof would satisfy your daughters yearn for fresh air.

Congrats on getting a 70. Pics? I believe "Yes" on the shared body style. You could contact a Canadian who deals with 70 series a lot, such as Crushers or RaddCruisers, for advice on where to get these. Or, maybe West Coast Cruisers there in Sandy Eggo could get them for you.

Oh yes, I remember looking at that one on Craigslist. It seemed like a good deal too. Your daughter will be in the front seat soon enough, so maybe you won't need those sliding rears. I wouldn't put a sun roof in it.
