A little bigger than 285/75R 16?

I'm currently running 285/75R 16 Nitto Terra Grappers on my '97 80 Series; the suspension is stock except for MAF 30mm spacers on the front (to get rid of the stink bug). It seems like I've got a lot of space in the wheel-wells, and I'm wondering if anyone else is running a little bit taller/wider tire on a stock suspension. PICTURES ARE WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS.

That space in the wheel wells gets eaten up pretty quickly when off-road. I think the tires you have on there now are just the right size.

Of course, if the biggest off-road challenge you ever encounter is speed bumps at the local mall, then ...

295/75/16 is what I'm about to run. Comes in around 33.4-33.6 depending on tire. Not much selection besides BFG At, Nitto TG, General Grabber AT, and Toyo AT2 which is what I'm going to run.
