Well, I installed the new M12000 by myself. It wasn't too bad, I just took the cable off first. That saved 40 pounds.

Today Discount Tire called and told me that the 35" Goodyear Duratracs that I ordered had arrived. I was in about a month ago to rotate the 33" Dunlop Mud Rovers and got a quote for the 35s. The gave me $300 trade on the Dunlops, which only had 13,000 miles on them. That was pretty good considering I only paid $500 for the 4 of them. I walked out with 5 Duratracs installed with the replacement warranty (I never buy that), for under $1200.

I am very pleased. The are so quiet. They have had rave reviews and are good in the snow, which we have here. So without further adieu:

Tires look great!, im jealous about the winch! Looks awesome

Very nice Robert!!!!!

Be sure to post up when your truck is covered in salt! ;)

Oh, it has been salted! Then washed the next day. I am going to buy some Fluid Film and coat the crap of the whole thing!

Now tell me about these tires and reviews. Have not heard anything about them.

For the 10 miles I have had them, the are VERY quiet compared to my Dunlop Mud Terrains.

What I gleaned from the reviews:

Seems to be very good in snow and mud. Very quiet. Some concerns about sidewall strength and stiffness. Some concerns about longevity, but is a new tire, so no good data yet.

You know, if fought/installed that winch in 30 degree weather while it was snowing. Re-spooling the cable was the last step; it was 1:30am and I had too many beers. So I got a little sloppy.:)

The cable is coming off this week anyways, as it has been sold and the synthetic replacement has is on the way.

Excuses, excuses - just kidding dude!

I'm impressed you got that bad boy up there yourself - that's no easy feat on it's own!
Looking forward to seeing the synthetic installed.
