Does anyone have a good A/C shop in or around Austin.

I did a search but didn't see any posts specifically related to a/c work...

I have a V8 conversion and I need simply a specific hose assembly and a charge with R12. Local parts stores keep finding the wrong parts and everything online says "must be physical comparison to get the correct part"

Has anyone completed the conversion to R134a and is it something to avoid? Does it cool as well?

I did my conversion at the local Midas (Burnet and Anderson) believe it or not. They did a fine job and it's been keeping me cool for the last year and a half. At idle, the temperature drops noticably (sounds like sometimes my compressor cuts out at idle) and on the hottest days in Austin traffic, it's still not bad at all. Everybody talks about how 134A doesn't cool as well, blah blah blah, but I've been kept cool just fine so far.......YMMV.
