Hi, hoping I'm posting in the right place. Basically I have a problem with AC working I can jump the compressor and fridge works ice cold.

Rhd based in New Zealand

A/C was Regassed yesterday

Truck started as a 1992 1hdt auto, have swapped to a 24v manual over the years which included a later model 1hdft FULL WIRING LOOM. Engine, body ect

I have the DD A/C amp in the truck at the moment which I'm unsure if it's for only the dual A/C trucks as in front/ rear cool. As mine is a 92 Jap import it only has front and fridge.

So question is do I need the DS ac amp or would the DD amp be fine. I'm sure the front ac and fridge would still work off it regardless if the rear ac switch was there or not.

Things I've tried

Testing power to compressor -nil (0 volts)
Testing power to Amp across all wires 12.4 volts on 3 of them ( I don't have a ewd to get the pin outs)
Testing the ac switch next to battery/headlight 12.4 volts

Tried a different Ac/heater box wiring loom with relays attached still no power to compressor.

I've also spent a few hours in the garage on my phone trying to search the forums for a answer to no avail.

Things I've tried now... Lol it's a headache

Jumped the pressure switch
Unplugged the thermister in the A/C box

Still no power to black/white compressor wire I will add when I do jump the compressor only the fridge goes cold there's no a/c running through the vents out of the dash.

Ok so I've now have the cooler box working via changing the A/C sub wiring loom with all relays and shut offs ect. (So suspected faulty shut off originally)

Still no a/c running into vents 😞

Check the A/C control panel itself. Mine went bad and the button would not stay engaged and the AC would stay off unless I held it on.

No luck unfortunately. Have mutliple and all the same outcome. Basically have compressor turning on now with A/C switch flicked on and fridge works. Just no ice cold air coming through the vents
