This is what I will probably try. Seems to be almost exactly the same size as the stock heater box in a 40.

Apparently this is a great option as well if you move it up and remove the high low shifter for the tcase and take out part of your glove box. I didn't want to disturb the dash area so that was not really an option for me.

I think Buck used this one as did Gary on his 45..

I"m still a bit away from the AC needs.. I'm hoping to utilize the stock Denso AC compressor on my motor as well.. your running a 782f correct?
Perhaps acquiring an FJ60 AC mount and swapping motor mounts. Will require hogging out the motor mount point on the frame a touch and notching the mount a touch to clear the batt tray but that will give you an AC compressor on the pass side. Swap to a 3 pulley crank.. THen use one of these two adapters to go to the compressor

YOu were asking for ideas..

Leave the alternator where it's at, put the power steering pump on the drivers side either where the smog pump was or above with a bracket from Georg.

VintageAir in a '67LPB...

It took some custom hangars, but fit pretty well.

Orange 45 sells a power steering pump mount i believe should fit the top two head bolts in the front. If u have a block that is tapped on the drivers side u can use an fj60 ps mount but i seem to remember your block being older. Georg is a more reputable vendor than jto who sells one similar. Possibly btb has one as well if i recall.

I have factory Power Steering from the FJ55 I salvaged. It also had an air pump, which of course I will not be using. Have not figured out the details about alternator and a/c setup but have pics showing the alt and a/c located on same side, right, with a special bracket. I think the bracket is sold by Vintage Air if I remember correctly. I'm pretty sure the factory PS pump was mounted on the left, DS, been a while.
