So, wife called me at work and said the A/C was blowing hot when she went to the store. Not good for her and my 16 month old. Just got home and checked it, no freon. My goal was to put some freon in with some dye and find the leak. Hooked up the connections, filled it with freon...so far so good. As soon as I unplugged the low side connection, freon started spraying out the valve. I guess the good news is I can return the dye I bought lol. So my question is, is the valve replaceable or do I need to get the whole low side line?

Thanks

You can replace just the valve core, Santech #MT0059. You might need a valve core removal tool like a Santech #MT1035. Pic's are not to scale...
