Wife mentioned to me that her feet were getting dripped on. knew about the a/c evaporator seal and how a bit of silicone would solve the issue. I opened up the housing and saw tons of crud. took me over an hour to clean it with condenser cleaner and water from a garden sprayer. cleaned drain tube as well. highly recommend air filters in there to prevent this (mine had the slot but no filters installed). honestly, I would really like to just remove my evaporator someday and give it a real cleaning or get a new one and just be sure to keep my filters clean. but that would require a/c vacuuming and recharge etc. highly recommend doing this if it's your first time and then drilling the hole and mounting the schrader valve for later touch up cleanings. image-4226403060.webp image-3213150258.webp image-150814570.webp image-1622338186.webp image-2003152605.webp image-2307773173.webp

Sorry neighbor :). Well done on the fix. I'm sure your wife is happy to keep her feet dry!
