A 40 series landcruiser for sale

and saw a 40 for sale. It was on Gilbert Road, north of McDowell in Mesa-- between McDowell and the Salt River bed. It was not complete-- I don't think it had an engine, it might have been missing part of the fender, and it looked real rough.

But I thought I would mention it.

And while I am at it, there is a set of 4 inch lift Downey springs, shackles and bushings from a 65 landcruiser for sale in the Republic Parts classifieds-- 300 bucks. You would think that someone could use that.

Stopped on Saturday and looked at that 40. It was gutted. Didn't talk to the owner about a price though. It was gone on Saturday evening on my way home... maybe it sold.

I saw the same FJ40. It's been there a long time. I live near there. It looked rough, but it could still be an awesome trail vehicle for someone with the money and time. Unfortunately that's not me. I already have my 75 FJ40 project that I don't have time or money to spend on until this winter.
