I can't find the freakin buzzer! I hate it. I'd like to be able to have the door open with the key in but still have the dome light come on at night. Can someone please let me know where it is?

Thanks! Thats exactly what I was looking for.

In your signature it says 'tall' describing your 4Runner. What does that mean? I bought my 99 5-speed, with what looks like a slight lift. It doesn't look like there's any aftermarket lift at all though. Did they come from the factory like that? How rare was the manual option?

The 99 coils were the tallest out of all the stock springs. The manual was fairly rare.
2000 was the last year for the 4 cylinder and the manual trans.

Didn't know that. It is a V6 with 5-speed. Real fun to drive. Thanks

Yeah, as Ray said, the '99 tall was I believe, 2" taller than the 2000 which was the shortest version. Not all '99's got the tall springs--some were shorter. When I bought it in May of '99 it was getting really hard to find a 5-speed. The dealer didn't have any and claimed he didn't know what was coming until the truck arrived. I was having this conversation when the truck pulled in, so we went out to look at it. I bought my rig before the tires hit the ground and it was the only 5-speed in the delivery.

If you have the tall springs, the front springs will be coded with yellow/pink and yellow/blue, the rears with green/red.
Ray--if you see this...maybe that buzzer write-up link deserves a place in your FAQ sticky.
