i've got a dark gray 99 landcruiser which i am considering selling.
i recently purchased it from the second owner, but i am considering replacing it with a 80 or 62.
it has 175,000 miles on it, but has been well kept.
i replaced the timing belt, tensioners, water pump, transmission fluid & battery as soon as i purchased it.
mechanically, the vechicle is as solid as can be.
i have paperwork going back to when the second owner purchased it with approx. 60,000 miles.
the previous owner was a fighter pilot who followed the maintenance schedule.
every preventive maintenance has been done.
some of the repairs besides what i have done, include...
new brakes, rack & pinion, cv boots, repacked bearings, throttle body, coil packs, plugs, fuel filter, os2 sensors, hoses & belts, starter, etc.
drives like it has 75,000 miles not 175,000.
all repairs done at toyota dealership, and has not missed one oil change.
the only blemish on the exterior are two minor s****es on the the bumper.
one of the headlights is new implying that it may have been in a very minor fender bender.
body is solid and shows no sign of any damage and original paint still shines.
vechicle doesn't look 9 years old, looks more like 5 years old.
interior is also clean, only showing normal signs of wear.
the power door on the passenger side sometimes doesn't work with remote, but can be operated with key.
the michelin ltx are in good shape with lots of tread left.
vehicle is equipped with center and rear locking diiferentials.
i am looking for $10,500 or a partial trade for a lifted 80 or 62.
the 80 or 62 must be mechanically sound, a daily driver.
let me know if this interests you, and i can send you some pics.
thanks & regards,
John
