Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me. My A/C light will turn on if I hit the button, but it never really gets cold. I took it to a mechanic, and he said that the A/C "low-pressure" line must have a leak (or the pressure is low -- no pun intended), and that fixing/replacing the line would be 600 bucks.
As I think that's a bit steep, I was thinking about buying the part myself, then taking it to an actual auto A/C place to have it replaced. Does anyone have any idea what the part might "officially" be called? I've looked at some diagrams, but I can't really sort it out. Also, how difficult of a replacement job is it?
Thanks in advance!
