98 window piece broke (help ID)

Just bought a 98 hundy. This piece on ds window is broke the person I bought it from said you had to buy the glass to get the piece. Can I get the part or glue the part I have.

Use the two part epoxy to glue back together. Did this with my drivers side window.

Thank. I just looked at it last night and thought I may could glue it! Just asking.

I glued my part to the window so it would never move or come off.

This was done because every dealer (have to buy a new window regulator) told me no-can-do on a new one, and window replacement center told me to check the dealer.

It's designed to break away from the window under a certain amount of stress so the window doesn't shatter.

Well, if is designed to break away Toyota should sell these mounts by them selves.

I found use ones from a junk yard, a glass shop gave me the correct adhesive to replace it. I had to Dremel out broken glass on the ear and clean the adhesive residue out with a utility knife but it worked.

Well the epoxy didn't work.. any ideas where to buy used?

What epoxy did you use? I used the gray color for metal.

My window mount is holding strong to the window.
