Since the cold weather, the truck won't start. It's warmed up now still won't start. It will crank. I pulled off plug wire, held it next to enngine block and could see spark arching to engine bl;ock while someone tried cranking. It seems ignition electic is not the problem. Is there an injector relay, switch, etc.? Has new fuel pump and fuel filter. It just crank, crank cranks with nothing taking.

I'm not a Nissan guy...but have you checked the fuel pressure? And do you have any trouble codes set?

Not trying to be a dick but have you checked the fuses.my xterra did that and it was my fuel pump fuse .

Thank Elbert and canomark for your suggestions. In the end it was a fuel pump. But diagnosis was complicated by the fact that my driveway is on a hill. We put in the new fuel pump. . . truck started up and we drove around. . . then reurned to park in the driveway. The next morning truck would not start. There was enough fuel to bring us in the drive but we think overnight the fuel sloshed down to the front of the fuel tank and away from the the fuel pump so the next morning all fuel was out of reach of the pump and hence it would not start. Much cursing. I removed the fuel line from the pump. . . trie dto crank. . . nothing. Then I relized "I might as well pour more gas in (even though it ran the day before) and it started right up! Thanks for your help. There are indeed idiots in the world, eh!
